ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 456/45-431 BC. AR Stater (19mm, 11.45 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation. Land tortoise with segmented shell / Large square incuse with skew pattern within incuse square. For prototype: cf. Meadows, Aegina, Group IIIb; cf. HGC 6, 437. Lightly toned, slightly off center. VF. Not suitable for encapsulation.
