SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. Second satrapy and kingship, 312-281 BC. AR Drachm (16mm, 3.85 g, 10h). Susa mint. Struck circa 305/4-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, holding wreath that she places on trophy to right; H to lower left, AX in lower middle field. SC 174.5; Marest-Caffey Group 2.5, 227–35 (A14/P17); ESMS S-31; HGC 9, 34. Rough surfaces, cleaning scratches, smoothing in field and slightly off center on obverse. VF.
