Alexandreia mint. Struck circa 306-300 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing elephant skin, aegis around neck, containing tiny Δ / Athena Alkidemos advancing right, brandishing spear and wearing shield on extended arm; to right, helmet, monogram, and eagle standing right on thunderbolt. CPE 63; Svoronos 168; Zervos Issue 24, obv. die 365; SNG Copenhagen 19. Attractive cabinet tone, light deposits, slightly off center on obverse. Good VF.
