LOCAL ISSUES, Silk Road Region. 5th-8th centuries AD. AV Imitation Solidus (18mm, 0.62 g, 6h). Imitating a Constantinople mint AV Solidus of Justinian I. Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger, shield on left shoulder; blundered legend / Angel standing facing, holding long staff and globus; star to right; blundered legend. See V.
