CARTHAGE. Circa 201-175 BC. Æ 15 Shekels (43mm, 77.23 g, 12h). Carthage mint. Wreathed head of Tanit left / Horse standing right; above, radiate sun-disk flanked by uraei; Punic letter below. MAA 103; SNG Copenhagen 399-400. Rough red-green patina, scratches. Fine. The largest of the Carthaginian bronzes. Very rare.
