SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Caracalla. AD 198-217. BI Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 15.58 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 214-215. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing on leg and thigh of sacrificial animal, head and tail right, with wings displayed and holding wreath in beak. McAlee 679; Prieur 221. Lustrous, a couple of copper oxide deposits on reverse. Good VF.
