Vitellius. AD 69. Æ Dupondius (29mm, 12.53 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck circa late April-20 December. A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG P M TR P, laureate and draped bust right / PAX AV GVSTI, S C across field, Vitellius, bareheaded and togate, standing left, clasping right hands with Roma, holding spear and shield, standing right. Cf. RIC I 147. Rough brown surfaces, slight bend in flan. VF. Apparently unrecorded with this obverse legend and with S C across field instead of in exergue.
