Nürnberg. Free City Taler 1768-SR MS66 NGC, Nürnberg mint, KM359, Dav-2498. Boasting an undeniably advanced visual and conditional quality, it is difficult not to be captivated by the aura of Prooflike luster emitting from this offering's exceptional expanses. While not difficult to locate this type in lower Mint State assignments, encountering any 17th or 18th century issue of Nürnberg in MS66 is quite a feat; the only other in NGC's census being a 1733-dated issue we offered just last August.
