Saxony. Friedrich August III Taler 1773-EDC MS66 PCGS, Dresden mint, KM992.1, Dav-2690. A highly appreciable specimen from this well-represented 10-year type, bestowed a gracious reflectivity across the coin's face and elevating Friedrich August III's frosted bust with a cameo-like effect. Mottled amber hues pepper the pristine expanses while the engraved devices remain crisp. Only a handful across all dates associated with the Davenport number have achieved a Gem designation and as such, we expect spirited bidding commensurate with this fact.
