M ANTONINVS-AVG TR P XXVI, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius right, seen from behind / IMP VI-COS III, Marcus Aurelius (on left), standing facing in military dress, head left, thunderbolt in right hand, reversed grounded spear in left, being crowned by Victory (on right), advancing left, palm over shoulder in left hand; pellet in central field. Calicó 1873 (same obverse die). RIC III 264. Scarce type. Bright and highly lustrous with a superb obverse and attractive style reverse.
