Few areas of world coinage inspire the same degree of admiration as do the emissions of Great Britain, and among those, few can lay claim to evoke such instant appreciation than the "Gothic" Crown of Victoria. Witnessed here with a most abundant cabinet patina that lightly subdues what is ultimately deep reflectivity beneath, shining through most prominently to the protected regions of the reverse. Benefitted by a gracious coat of frost across Wyon's sensitively rendered bust of the young "Victoria" and reverse designs, fully lending itself to the advanced "Cameo" designation and ranking in the top 5% conditionally.
