Holland. Provincial gold Gulden 1681 UNC Details (Edge Filing) NGC, KM61a, Fr-Unl., Delm-801 (R), PW-Ho58.4. 32mm. 17.02gm. Struck to 5 Ducat weight. An ever-fascinating series and one that we're seeing with great frequency in this auction alone. A challenging off-metal issue regardless, produced to exacting precision and semi-medallic in appearance. While scattered hairlines define NGC's assignment, this does little to detract from the wholly appreciable resplendence witnessed here. Radiance abounds the protected recesses of the legends, which find themselves notably absent any grade-hindering marks or imperfections, and as such, will receive interest commensurate with those within these very pages.
