JUDAEA. Bar Kokhba Revolt (AD 132-135). AR sela (26mm, 13.17 gm, 1h). NGC AU 5/5 - 4/5. Dated Year 2 (AD 133/4). Jerusalem (Paleo-Hebrew), legend on either side of façade of the Jerusalem Temple, cross in pediment, the Ark of the Covenant seen from end in center of entrance / Year Two of the Freedom of Israel (Paleo-Hebrew), lulav with etrog at left. GBC 6, 6416. GBC 5, 1387. Excellently centered and solidly struck with sharp devices. Stormy toning and quite attractive.
