Struck on a Bolivia Charles III 8 Reales 1777 PTS-PR with a Type II octagonal bust of George III Bank Dollar of 5 Shillings ND (1799-1804) counterstamp (KM656). A seldom-seen host for the popular 960 Reis types, this well-struck piece presents even highpoint wear to the ash surfaces and presents a bold stamp on the host, with George's bust amply discernible. First we have handled, and apparently also first to hit the market in recent decades.
