Among the most coveted types from the reign of George II and one of instantly recognizable origin due to the not so subtle placement of "Lima" below George's coiffed bust. Apart from those seldom-seen gold issues, the Crown is the most hotly contested, and in anything comparable to the preservation witnessed here, become prohibitive. Clearly having been tucked away not long after production, evidenced by the paucity of distracting marks and overall cabinet patina.
