Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1824 Co-G AU58 NGC, Cuzco mint, KM129.2, Cal-1745 (prev. Cal-4). A single-year type from the Cuzco mint and one that is highly appreciable at this state of preservation and finer, with most witnessed in XF or lesser conditions. The broad flan wears a regal orpiment patina, hinted with amber and azure along the peripheries. Trivial instances of handling and some quality control issues are virtually washed away on the glossy reverse, a spectacle to be enjoyed by its next keeper.
