S-1881. Obverse: Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing, holding Gospels and raising right hand in benediction; Reverse: Nicephorus standing facing, holding labarum and globus cruciger. A charming example with plenty of detail and pleasingly free from graffiti or marks. A flan crack at about obverse 10 o'clock has been carefully filled in, though discoloration makes the repair visible.
