1) 2 Reales, 1846. San Jose Mint. cf. KM-54. Issued by decree of 15 October 1846. Countermark: Type V bifacial, Obverse: Sun personification over mountains; Reverse: Ceiba tree flanked by 2R. Applied to an unidentifiable Spanish Colonial Cob 2 Reales. PCGS Genuine--Holed, VF Details.

2) 2 Reales, 1845. San Jose Mint. KM-38. Issued by decree of 13 November 1845. Countermark: Type III bifacial, Obverse: bust left, legend around; Reverse: Ceiba tree, legend around. Applied to 1808-S CN Spain bust 2 Reales of Charles IIII (IV) (KM-C-69). PCGS VG-8, Countermark: F Details.
