Engraved by Ernst A. Altmann. Diameter 22 mm. Weight 8.39g (with mount). Late 19th century pastoral prize medal with post-strike engraving for the North-Eastern Pastoral & Agricultural Society show in 1885. Reverse inscribed, "Northeastern P&A Society / Awarded To / Jas. Irwin / Gent's Ridg Saddle / Donated by / E. Altmann / 1885." Altmann was a jeweler, medalist, die sinker, and engraver, largely based in Melbourne, Australia.
