JAPAN: MEDALS: Taisho, 1912-1926, AV medal (10.00g), year 9 (1920), 23mm gold award medal of the Kokugakuin University Alumni Association to Toyoji Wada, two seal script characters superimposed on leaves on a pebbled surface with three 5-pointed stars in the border // seal script text translating to "Kokugakuin University Alumni Association / Mr. Wada / 2580 Imperial Era", with two characters in the center and two faint chopmarks, somewhat sweated surfaces from jewelry wear, with suspension ring and loop, tiny obverse rim nick, plain edge, VF. Mr. Wada was the director of Kokugakuin University and secured the funds to build the Shinto Shrine on the campus in 1930.
