Coins assigned to this reign have 'al ghayat, "very noble (alloy)", in the reverse center, copied from late Fatimid and Ayyubid dinars of the previous century. Struck only at Almaligh in 638 & 639. This type is the "first silver coinage" assigned to the Chaghatayids.
