QING: Xuan Tong, 1909-1911, AE cash (4.52g), Board of Revenue Mint, Peking, H-22.1515, West branch mint, large-sized flan, one dot tong variety, likely cast in 1909 only, a lovely, basically mint state example! EF, ex K.K. Lee Collection, in old American Missionary Church Tithe & Offering Envelope dated 1932. According to Bruce Smith, it is speculated that this larger issue was made for use in the Imperial Palace.
