LIECHTENSTEIN: Johann II, 1858-1929, AR 5 franken, 1924, Y-10, very lightly cleaned, a lovely toned lustrous example, PCGS graded Unc details, ex Joe Sedillot Collection. The Liechtenstein krone was the currency of Liechtenstein from 1898 to 1921. The Principality used the Austro-Hungarian krone and then Austrian krone after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918, after which it switched to the Swiss franc in 1921 due to the krone's instability.
