AYYUBID: LOT of 31 copper fulus, from the Ayybuid branch at Hamah: al-Mansur Muhammad I (1191-1220) (14 pcs), including types A-852.2 and 852.3; al-Muzaffar Mahmud (1228-1244) (1 pc) type A-853 (still rare but not as rare as in the past); and al-Mansur Muhammad II (1244-1284) (16 pcs) probably all type A-855.1 citing al-Salih as overlord; average VG to Fine condition, most with some weakness as is typical of these types; nearly all identified by the consignor, interesting study group; retail value $400, lot of 31 pieces.
