FATIMID: al-Mu'izz, 953-975, AR ½ dirham (1.32g), al-Mu'izziya, AH(35)6, A-699, Nicol-378 (only 1 piece reported), very rare mint, presumably named or renamed in honor of the Imam al-Mu'izz, active for gold in AH356 (and for al-Mustansir in AH470), and for silver only 356-364, all extremely rare; about 20% flat strike, clear mint & date, Fine to VF, RRR. Al-Mu'izziya was the city of Taormina in Sicily. The AH470 coin of al-Mustansir must refer to a different location, as Sicily was no longer in Fatimid hands in 470.
