SAMANID: Nuh III, 976-997, AV dinar (3.93g), Herat, AH383, A-1468, citing Abu Shuja', the local governor of Khorasan, below the reverse; the title below the obverse, al-mu'ayyad min al-sama' ("supported from Heaven"), probably applied to Nuh rather than the governor; double-struck, but with all the names, mint, and date fully legible, VF, RRR. The only recorded example filed on CoinArchives sold in ICA-12:3424 (2007).
