JUDAEA, Jewish War. 66-70 CE. Æ Eighth Shekel (19mm, 5.65 g, 12h). Jerusalem mint. Dated year 4 (69/70 CE). "Year four" (paleo-Hebrew), lulav bunch flanked by an etrog on either side / "To the Redemption of Zion" (paleo-Hebrew), chalice. Hendin 6398; TJC 214; Sofaer 44-52. Attractive pale green patina, earthen deposits. Well centered and struck. Good VF.
