Archbishops of Canterbury. Ceolnoth Penny ND (833-870) Genuine NGC, Canterbury mint, Beornmod as moneyer, S-893. 1.24gm. Tonsured bust facing / Monogram. A respectable state of preservation for the type, toned in an earthen gray that allows some brightness to shine through on the highpoints. We note a crack running from 11 to 4 o'clock that appears to have been mended.
