Basil I the Macedonian, with Constantine. 867-886. Fourée Solidus (19mm, 4.39 g, 6h). Imitating an official issue of the Constantinople mint, circa 868-879. Christ Pantokrator enthroned facing; * at end of legend / Crowned facing busts of Basil, wearing loros, and Constantine, wearing chlamys, holding patriarchal cross between them. Cf. DOC 2; cf. Füeg 3.A.2; cf. SB 1704 (all references for official issue). Obverse rubbed at high points revealing core, a few minor scratches and marks, minor edge scrape. VF.
