ITALY, Bergamo (Commune). 1236-early 14th century. AR Grosso da 6 denari (20mm, 1.85 g, 4h). In the name of Emperor Frederick II (1220-1250). Struck 1236-circa 1250. Laureate and draped bust right / Domed building with two towers above crenellated archway; annulet to upper right. MIR 16a; MEC 12, 396; Biaggi 351. Toned, slightly wavy flan, scratch behindhead. Good VF. Rare.
