GERMANY, Augsburg (city). nomine Ferdinand III. AR Box Taler – Schraubtaler (41mm, 17.29 g). Dated 1658. Laureate, draped, and armored bust right, wearing Order of the Golden Fleece / Cityscape of Augsburg; cherub above; below, pine cone set on ornate base. Forster 285; Davenport 5039. Toned with traces of iridescence, some light scratches. Good VF. Includes attached roundel with arabesque design and ten mica films with scenes of the Passion of Christ (in poor condition).
