IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.21 g). Lydo-Milesian standard. Two conjoined, stylized serpents'(?) heads, with open jaws and lolling tongues / Single divided punch with volute designs. SNG Kayhan 1540–1; otherwise, unpublished in the standard references. Traces of find patina, struck with worn dies. Good VF.
