IONIA, Uncertain. Circa 600-550 BC. EL Hemihekte – Twelfth Stater (8.5mm, 1.26 g). Phokaic standard. Lion seated right / Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. SNG von Aulock 1776 (hekte); cf. CNG 111, lot 267 (myshemihekte); otherwise, unpublished in the standard references as a hemihekte. A few minor marks. Near VF. Very rare as a hemihekte.
