SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.42 g, 12h). Lysimacheia mint. Diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and resting hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monogram to outer left; in exergue, monogram and head of lion right. SC 483.2; Le Rider, Lysimachie, Series 2, dies D2/R8; HGC 9, 236a. Toned, minor areas of roughness, traces of horn silver. Good VF. Very rare.
