ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan. 2nd–1st centuries BC. AR Drachm (12.5mm, 2.26 g, 9h). Imitating Athens obverse. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye; monogram on cheek / Upward crescent within incuse square. CNG 112, lot 350; otherwise, unpublished in the standard references. Lightly toned, minor deposits, light scuff at edge on reverse. VF. Very rare.
