Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front / Hermes standing facing, head left, holding purse and caduceus. HH&J 8.26.10.7; AMNG –; RPC VI –; Varbanov –. Dark green patina, overstruck reverse. VF. Extremely rare overstrike.

This reverse was overstruck on a reverse of Macrinus, by the legate Statius Longinus, his legend is still visible as the undertype. Curtis Clay observed this phenomenon in 2015 on a coin with the same reverse type, this is the second known specimen.
