JUDAEA, Neapolis. Trebonianus Gallus. 251-253 CE. Æ (24mm, 10.20 g, 6h). Radiate and cuirassed bust right, seen from the front, with gorgoneion on breastplate / Nike advancing right holding Mount Gerizim aloft in both hands; to right, distyle temple façade containing cult statue of Demeter(?) standing facing, altar at feet. None of the references cited note the gorgoneion on the breastplate but it is clear on this, as well as a couple of the RPC specimens.
