The medal's reverse depicts two parts of the battle; to the left the Swedish flag-ship, the Great Crown, sinks after being attacked by the Danish Admiral, Lorentz Creutz. To the right, in an action from later, the Swedish ship Sword and the Danish flag-ship Christianus Quintus in action.
