NGC MS61 | George I (1714-1727), Two-Guineas, 1726, laureate head right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, seven strings to harp, emblem-adorned sceptres in angles, edge obliquely milled, 16.79g, 5h (Murdoch II, 8; Waterbird 18; Schneider II, 543; MCE 244; EGC 501; Spink 3627), some rim marks and scratches behind crown of head, consistent linear flecking across lustrous and residually brilliant fields, a bolder very fine / extremely fine, a sought-after denomination in the present market place, in NGC holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #6295540-002).
