George I (1714-1727), 'Roses and Plumes' Shilling, 1725, second laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, no stops in legend, rev. crowned shields cruciform, roses and plumes in angles, six strings to harp, obliquely milled edge, 5.87g, 6h (ESC 1184; Bull 1599; Spink 3649), die flaw next to 5 in date, the bust mostly rubbed, nevertheless deeply toned, about fine / good fine, scarce.
