George III (1760-1820), Shillings (3), 1787 over 6, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. crowned shields cruciform, no hearts, obliquely milled edge, 5.94g, 12h (ESC 1222; Bull 2128; Spink 3745), touch of rub and wiped, yet toned, about very fine; another, '1 over inverted 1', similar, with hearts, obliquely milled edge, 6.01g, 12h (ESC 1225A; Bull 2131; Spink 3746), hairlined and wiped to obverse, the reverse yet richly toned and lustrous, near extremely fine; lastly, similar, no stop above head, rev. no hearts, obliquely milled edge, 6.02g, 12h (ESC 1218; Bull 2133; Spink 3744), lightly toned, iridescently so to reverse, good very fine (3).
