NGC MS61 | George III (1760-1820), Bank of England, Dollar, 1804, struck over a Charles IV 8-Reales of 1805, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, top laurel leaf below upright of E, rev. Britannia seated left, K in relief below shield, plain edge, 26.98g*, 12h (ESC 144; Bull 1925; Spink 3768), partial staining but with much evidence of undertype extant to render the 'impossible' overdate, lightly toned, about extremely fine, in NGC holder, graded MS61 (Cert. #6383232-009).
