George V (1910-1936), Christmas 'Wreath' Crown, 1931, by B Mackennal and Kruger Gray, bare head left, rev. crown within wreath, milled edge, 28.18g, 12h (ESC 371; Bull 3639; Spink 4036), handsomely toned, a thoroughly pleasingly good extremely fine, the technical fineries of which are further underscored by peripheral dapples of lustrous 'burn' - a lovely example!.
