The Robert P Ball Cabinet of Ancient Coins | Sicily, Selinos, AR Didrachm, c. 540-515 BC, Selinon [parsley] leaf, rev. incuse square made of twelve triangles, of which six are raised and six are sunken, the so-called 'mill sail' pattern, 11h (Arnold-Biucchi Group I, 7; Selinus 25-28; SNG ANS 679; SNG Lloyd 1205; Gulbenkian 242), scuffed and struck with rusty dies, otherwise toned, about very fine.
