Islamic, Samanid, Nuh II ibn Mansur I (AH 367-387 // AD 976-997) AR Multiple (Triple) Dirham, Kurat Badakshan Mint, 14.62g, 2h, struck with much softness, residual lustre, scarcely fine; another, Multiple (Double) Dirham, Madan Mint, 10.99g, 2h, mostly flat with some horn silver, good; and lastly, Ghazanid, Yemin al Daulah Mahmud (AH 388-421 // AD 998-1030), Multiple (Double) Dirham, AH 389 [AD 999/1000], Anderaba Mint, citing Caliph Al Qadir and Governor Balkategin, Koranic invocation, crescent above, sword below, rev. legend including titles, 9.85g, 10h (MWI 766; Album 1608), some minor striking softness, otherwise residually lustrous, very fine or better.
