NGC AU Details | Canada, Victoria (1867-1901), 10-Cents, 1889, London, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA, laureate head left, CANADA below, rev. crown atop maple-leaf wreath surrounding 10 CENTS 1889 in three lines, edge milled, 2.32g, 7h (KM 3), an unfortunate rim scuff at 11 o'clock and heavier bagmarks before forehead and below eye, residually lustrous with hints of purplish-grey tone, a splendidly bold very fine for strike, the key date of series and immensely prized by all Canadian collectors with as few as a dozen examples offered at global auction in the past two decades, in NGC holder, graded AU Details ~ Obverse Rim Damage (Cert. #6295564-001).
