Edward VIII brass "Coronation" Medal 1937 MS65 NGC, BHM-4284. 43mm. By G. Allen. Obv. Crowned draped bust right. Rev. Equestrian figure of the king's champion. Struck on a large planchet with fully rendered and well-preserved devices. Dappled toning overlays the attractive apricot surfaces. Due to Edward VIII's abdication, surviving souvenir pieces are notably scarce. This Gem example is the only known at NGC. From the Abbeygate Collection of British Medals
