Mn. Cordius Rufus. 46 B.C. AR denarius (19.7 mm, 3.70 g, 6 h). Rome mint, Struck 46 B.C. RVFVS III VIR, Conjoined heads of the Dioscuri right; each wears laureate pileus surmounted by star; name behind and beneath / [MN CORDIVS] (presumably, illegible - M & N in monogram), name vertically downward to left of Venus Verticordia, standing left, holding scales and scepter, Cupid on her shoulder . RRC 463/1; CRR 976; RSC/Babelon Cordia 2a. Fine, well struck obverse, reverse less so, on generous ovoid flan; gray toning shading to black in recesses.
