D N THE[ODO] - SIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Theodosius I right / [REP]ARATIO REIPVB, Theodosius I in military garb, standing facing, head left, with right hand raising kneeling turreted female personification of "The Republic" and Victory on globe in left // SM TES (officina designation usually found in right field is missing). RIC IX 37d; LRBC 1826. Near VF, somewhat unevenly struck on flan with two large sprue-removal chips, missing a few letters and flattening the device salients .
