A Near Eastern bronze figure of a feline with a small animal in its? mouth, ca. 1000 - 600 B.C. , the neck tall with elongated body and short tapered legs and tail; within the mouth is a small quadruped. Vertical hole through shoulders as the votive was originally mounted on a pin or similar. Dark olive-green patina. L: 1 ? in. (4.5 cm). Repaired at neck. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
